I have the spare key fob from my now totaled Focus ST. It is of course keyed for my VIN, but I just wonder if there is a market for these since they're so damn expensive to replace. Couldn't really find anything in a quick google search.

ask a dealer if they can be reprogrammed.
if so , you'll be on a winner.

Maybe, some smart keys use a chip that is inside the fob. Open it up and find out, maybe?

Maybe give it back to the dealer so it can be reprogrammed?

It could then be used as a spare for another car after reprogramming. IDEK.

These typically can't be reprogrammed for another vehicle. But if the guys can be removed you could sell them for parts. Prior could replace aesthetically with out out damaged ones with the case from yours.

Hey brochacho, yes you can, and yes I'll buy it as I need a spare. Used fobs like that go for around 50 shipped and can be reprogrammed (for about 50-80 bucks) for another ST. Hook a brother up! Also, sorry about the loss man :(
